Itās allergy season!! Maybe youāre someone who struggles with itchy eyes, a scratchy throat, or constantly sneezing and feel that you canāt even step outside until spring is over. Until a few years ago, I used to struggle with seasonal allergies EVERY year. It was only in the past few years that I started to find some relief once I began to address the root-cause of my allergies and support my body holistically. Here are 4 ways you can heal your allergies this spring season.
Natural Treatments for Seasonal Allergies - Gut Health
Top foods in order to do so: bone broth, lots of vegetables and fruits- especially garlic, onions, peppers, apples, cranberries, nuts and seeds, and probiotics.
Foods that contain quercetin- which is an antihistamine ingredient found in apples, berries, grapes, ginkgo biloba tea, and green tea.
Increase your vitamin C levels with the use of lemons, limes, oranges, and supplementation.

Natural Treatments for Seasonal Allergies - Immune Response
Bee pollen supplement- I recommend BeeKeepers Naturals.
Raw and organic honey, bee propolis, royal jelly, really anything involving bees will do!! Studies have shown that honey, propolis, royal jelly, and bee pollen contain ingredients that decrease inflammation, improve menopausal symptoms and wound repair, and overall boost our immunity.
Other supplements I would recommend to support our immune system: elderberry, vitamin C and D, quercetin, and reishi. Studies show that reishi mushrooms can help inhibit the release of histamine cells, a chemical that is responsible for many allergy symptoms.

Natural Treatments for Seasonal Allergies - Adrenals
Anytime allergies are present, we need to address the health of our adrenals. When the adrenals are in need of some extra TLC, we usually are experiencing symptoms of āburn outā or fatigue which can decrease our immune system and worsen our allergy symptoms.
Top ways to support our adrenals include: stress management techniques, focusing on lymphatic drainage, daily movement, eating lots of protein and healthy fats, getting out in the sunshine.
Supplements I recommend to support our stress management: magnesium, vitamin c, ashwagandha, rhodiola, turmeric, and holy basil. Specific brands I support: Living Alchemy- Stress Less. CANPREV- Adrenal-Pro, AOR- Ortho-Adapt

Natural Treatments for Seasonal Allergies - BIE
Your body is the most effective healing modality you have!!! BIE enables oneās body to recognize sensitivities or intoleranceās (aka stressors) and assists the body in recovery from allergy-associated symptoms.
BIE is able to reprogram a cellās response to itās environment, therefore eliminating those stubborn allergy symptoms
